Enhance your Downlodr experience by integrating plugins that expand functionality and streamline your workflow. Follow this quick step-by-step guide to install plugins in just a few clicks.
Visit the Available Plugins section or the plugin’s download page
Click the Download button for your desired plugin
Save the plugin file (usually a .zip file) to your computer
Locate the downloaded plugin file on your computer
Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All (Windows) or Archive Utility (Mac)
Choose a destination folder where you can easily find the extracted contents
The extracted folder will contain all the plugin files and components
Open the Downlodr app.
Click the Plugins tab at the top of the Downlodr interface (next to Downloads).
In the file selector:
Click Choose from File
Navigate to the extracted folder
Select the plugin folder (not individual files)
Once selected, Downlodr will validate and install the plugin.
You’ll see it appear in the plugin list, ready to activate and use.
The search bar helps you filter installed plugins quickly.
If the plugin doesn’t load, make sure the folder contains all required plugin components.
Some plugins may require restarting Downlodr after installation.
